"Our Will to Live"
Launched with the TMF annual Gala in 2019 at Boston's Symphony Hall with conductor ANDRIS NELSONS, this multi-media production features performance of VIKTOR ULLMANN's "The Lay of the Love and Death of Cornet Christopher Rilke," with original set designs by painter DANIEL LUDWIG, in a dramatic reading with piano accompaniment. A book and international productions are in planning. As Ullmann wrote in Terezín in 1944, "Our will to create was commensurate with our will to live."
"As we learned about each musician, we began to understand the real story and impact of Terezín."

"Do Not Forget Me"
Launched in 2017 at the TMF Symphony Hall Gala, this multi-media production (inspired by a letter written in Terezín by composer Gideon Klein), features a narrative introducing the Terezín story and music by five Terezín composers: Mr. Klein, Viktor Ullmann, Pavel Haas, Ilse Weber, and Hans Krása. On the program is Mr. Krása's Brundibar, sung by Terezín survivors, who performed this opera in the camp as children, alongside contemporary children's choirs. As part of DO NOT FORGET ME, these survivors offer educational programs for the children.
