Track of the Month: JUNE 2021

This lovely, touching serenade by Terezín artist Robert Dauber will be performed by acclaimed violinist Nathan Meltzer and pianist Vytas Baksys at our October 25, 2021 Symphony Hall Gala Concert. Mr. Meltzer will perform on the legendary "Ames, Totenberg" Stradivarius, an instrument whose voice, like those of Terezín, we cherish after a long silence.

Robert Dauber was sent to Terezín at age nineteen in 1942 and participated in the cultural community there. He died in Dachau in 1945. This Serenade is his only surviving work.

Join us October 25, 2021 to hear this and other superb works —by Schul, Schulhoff, Krása, and Ullmann — live at Boston's Symphony Hall. Together we will share the life-giving force of music — with live and virtual performances by Yo-Yo Ma, members of the BSO, Annette Miller, Coro Allegro, and more.
